Stephen George is the CEO and founder of Surkus, a multi-sided global experiential marketing platform offering members exclusive access to paid events and offers from brands in exchange for engagement.
Stephen began his career at Groupon as Co-founder and Head of Operations, responsible for building the company’s foundation and seeing it through to the $12 billion IPO in 2011. At the age of 23, Stephen managed a team of 11,000 employees across 40 countries, playing a key role in driving the company from pre-revenue stage to roughly $1.6 billion in revenue in 2011.
In 2016, Stephen launched Surkus with the mission to provide transparent, efficient and measurable marketing solutions to businesses, maximizing their growth and impact. Surkus is live across North America, MENA and Asia.
