WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE BEST REGIONAL TALENT

If you’re an indie game developer, unsigned musician or band, online video creator, or independent movie maker, creating original content, then we’re looking for you.

Over the ON.DXB weekend we’re giving talented artists from the region the opportunity to showcase their skills to an audience of industry specialists, investors, peers, and consumers, on one of the three zones located in the outdoor FESTIVAL SQUARE and indoor STUDIO.

All you need to do is submit the work you want to showcase on the form below and a panel of industry judges will review and select the best work to take their very own slot on stage. The very best from each of the categories of film, game, video, and music will then be selected to pitch to a panel of judges with a chance to win a prize to help accelerate your idea, career, and creative work.

FILM

Raise your profile within the film industry and premiere your feature-length or short film at ON.DXB and have it seen by film fans, media, brands and the wider industry.

Game

Are you one of our region’s many unsung indie game developers? This zone is exclusively for you to show us your game trailer, live demo, or work in progress to the ON.DXB industry and consumer audience.

Video

From videos to podcasts if you are creating for the small screen this is the place where we’ll be premiering your work to the ON.DXB audience. This is your opportunity to have your work seen by the industry-at-large.

Music

At the centre of FESTIVAL SQUARE you will find ON_STAGE – the platform for musicians of all kinds to showcase their work – whether live performance, film compositions, or digital music – this is your chance to get a session on this stage.

Entry Requirements
& Judging Criteria

Our panel of industry judges will review work from each of the four categories; film, game, video and music. Entries will close on the 1st November and selected participants will be contacted by 10th November.

By submitting your content, you are agreeing to have your work shared with our panel of judges, and viewed in front of a wider audience at ON.DXB.
All submissions must include a summary and an attachment of your work.
Admissions are free of charge.
Languages other than English must accompany English subtitles.

Please ensure all content is original work, and that you have permission
from anyone involved in the collaboration of your work
All attachments must not exceed 3mins
If your creation exceeds 3mins, please submit a clip or trailer of your work
Content should be suitable for audience including family and children
